Ever wanted to distribute your game in countries that prefer their local language more than English but you haven’t find any good localization tool or didn’t have enough time to write your own? Tired of localization assets where you have to type in texts that you want translations for, instead of simply clicking on simple Translate button in inspector that will generate all language pairs using translation API?
No worries, I got you, bro.
Translation Memory Manager is localization framework made for Unity that uses sqlite databse for making baked in translations using translation memories.
This asset allows you to localize your game texts (such as UI texts, character dialogues, NPC texts, on click texts etc.) easily. It allows you to localize using translation memory technique, translation using external translation API or combination of those two (which is the best, in case that you understand language that original text was translated to)
-Translation memory manager allows you to Localize any of your existing game projects simply by drag n droping two prefabs in scene.
-Contains various scripts reusable in other projects (like panel manager for calling various UI elements on key press with various different show/hide animations ) or scripts that can display some text on screen after detecting click on some object (2D or 3D ,doesn't matter).
-Since it uses sqlite database for storing segments (translated words, phrases or even whole sentenes and paragraphs, doesen't matter) it is cross platform supported. Mobile devices click well with sqlite (Androids, iOS...) so you also get mobile support.
-Everything is nicely designed visually in inspector so that you can easily manage your translations and get over with this localization thing :)
-Every script is well documented (as well as scripts methods and properties) and can be extended easily with new functionalities.
**Fetching all needed translation for certain segment and inserting it in database ,all done in inspector, with just one click of a button ! ** (will save you a lot of time compared to manually inserting every translation and fetching translations one by one)
-goes with 30+ different language supports ,but you can extend it with basically any language (30 is just for the sake of proving a concept) which means that you can, of course, localize your game for any country with no problem, simply by adding (writing) the name of the language that it's using.
