Flipnote is an encoder & decoder tool of bone weights on each vertex and matrices on each bone. This tool enables us to animate meshes without using SkinnedMeshRenderer component.
Features:
- Animation without SkinnedMeshRenderer
- Compatible with GPU Instancing
- Bone positions are accessible from Shaders
- Support Normals and Shadows
Limitation:
- Tested only on some hardwares on Windows
- GPU must support Vertex Texture Fetch functionality
- Humanoid model is not supported yet
