QuickPainter enables you to paint on mesh objects with standard materials. With minimal performance hit and asset creation time it offers great improvement of graphics assets.
Features:
• easy to use
• uses textures to store paint masks - control mask density as needed
• simplified material setup - build complex material from existing standard materials
• support for 2, 3 or 4 materials
• supports albedo, normal, metallic, ambient occlusion and emission textures
• 3 shader groups : Layer, Gradient and Triplanar
• animate weights and mapping transformations - you can achieve interesting effects
• save texture masks as assets and compress them if needed
• functionality to convert material from Standard (Roughness) to Standard (builds metallic texture from roughness & metallic)
• contains 9 example materials
Requirements:
• uses Shader model 3.5 (most shaders are Shader Model 3.0)
• works on DX11+, OpenGL 3.2+, OpenGL ES 3+, Metal, Vulkan, PS4/XB1
