LTexturePacker is an extremely easy to use tool that will take whichever textures you want and combine them into one. The benefit of this is that batching done by Unity will be much more efficient, and bring the amount of drawcalls being done, closer to 1.
With one click of a button it will combine your textures into as small of a texture that it can trying to reduce the amount of texture memory that it takes up. The algorithm used has been tested thoroughly to be as fast and as efficient as it can be.
