Be sure to install Vuforia Augmented Reality Support within the Unity Download Assistant or XR Settings.
To run the AR+VR sample, you will need to activate Vuforia AR Support in XR Settings and also Virtual Reality Support -
then add Vuforia at the top of the Virtual Reality SDKs list.
See our Getting Started guide to learn more about developing with Vuforia in Unity.
Here is a video showing the flow and behavior of this sample.
Get started creating AR+VR apps using Vuforia, the world’s most widely used AR platform. Vuforia makes it easy to develop cross-platform apps for the latest handheld and headworn devices and powers over 50,000 apps including titles from EA, Square Enix, LEGO, Activision and more.
The Vuforia AR+VR sample provides a complete Unity project showing how to design and configure Unity scenes for immersive mixed reality experiences using both headworn viewers and handheld devices.
This sample demonstrates how to configure Vuforia's stereo rendering, along with head and target tracking using the Mixed Reality Controller, in an Image Target app that transitions between AR and VR views. You will see how to integrate Vuforia targets in AR and VR scene, and how to gracefully transition between each.
