This package successfully integrates Mac Unity and Visual Studio running side-by-side on your Mac, while repairing and preventing broken reference paths in Visual Studio for Unity Mac's UnityEditor and UnityEngine libraries.
Empower your coding workflow integrating Visual Studio with Mac Unity. This package permanently enables Unity Mac C# script editing in Visual Studio, locking in Visual Studio's ability per project, to IntelliSense Unity C# scripting, syntax highlighting, code hinting, code completion, mouse-over references, and tool tips, even when projects are closed, then reopened.
Run the VisualStudioUnityMac package scene "Once Per Project" (after setup of one-time instructions for your Mac) then remove the Visual Studio Unity Mac Package from the current project, it is no longer necessary and as a practice of good housekeeping, this package has been designed not to clutter your project directory after it's intended purpose has been satisfied. It's truly that easy!
Note: This version of the package does not enable Unity Mac projects to be debugged in Unity Editor. Recommendation: Use Visual Studio for it's advanced script editing capabilities with Unity Mac and use MonoDevelop for debugging when needed.
Straightforward, clear and concise, these time saving, rigorously developed, thoroughly tested instructions and software together integrate Windows Visual Studios and Unity Mac.
