Just drag prefabs and edit properties in the Inspector.Add flying drones to your game. The flying drones can patrol, follow Game Objects, or be controlled by the player. The Flying Drone Toolkit includes 2 flying drone 3D models and extensible scripts for drone behavior. You can easily integrate other drone models that you obtain from the Asset Store or create yourself.Programming is not required. Drones can be added using prefabs. Many parameters can be adjusted in the Inspector. The extensible software architecture allows you to customize drone behavior if you do want to add or modify scripts. You can add your own 3D drone model by writing a short wrapper script.See a preview on YouTube.Send any questions to ClockworksGamesVideos@gmail.com.The Flying Drone Toolkit has been updated for Unity 2020.3, and has been tested for versions as recent as Unity 6.3.Drones can traverse among waypoints, follow other objects, or be manually controlled by the user.Documented scripts are included. Flight dynamics are simulated, such as by having the drone bob up and down. (All parameters are adjustable.) However, actual aerodynamic equations are not used for drone flying. The legacy Unity Input Manager is used, which is supported in all versions of Unity. The included drones and sample scenes use the built-in renderer. Materials can be converted to URP or HDRP.Detailed documentation is included with the package.
