The models have been well-crafted and optimized, but in the mean time they have been created with ArchViz quality in mind. As such, they use multiple sub-materials to allow easy change of the look and to allow use in real-time room configurators, where materials can be changed by the end user.Where necessary, models use 2 sets of normal maps, one for details baked from a high-poly mesh, and one for surface details. This way, you can change the surface normal and diffuse and alter the look of the material (if you need to change the type of fabric, for instance), but retain the baked details.
