Shader based viewmodel projection helps reduce first person weapon clipping near surfaces, keeping important weapon details visible while preserving the world camera view.Viewmodel Projection Lab is a shader system for first person weapons and equipment in Unity. It applies projection to rendered viewmodel geometry. With the depth guards tuned to the scene, it can help reduce clipping near walls and other surfaces, keeping important weapon details visible while preserving the world camera framing. Results depend on the mesh, material, camera setup and settings.Tune projection blend, viewmodel field of view, scale, depth offset, near clip guard and far depth guard. Transition between projected and world rendering with the included controls. The system affects rendering only. It does not move transforms or colliders, perform collision detection, or guarantee that a weapon remains visible through every surface. The Viewmodel Projection shader is the asset for sale in this listing. It is designed to adapt to custom shaders and camera effects. Additional setup may be required for a specific project, and compatibility is not guaranteed for every shader or effect. The included demo project shows it integrated with the publisher's Overheat Glow, NVG and Thermal, Advanced Weapon Camo, Realistic Laser Sight, and Scope and Sights Shader assets. These companion assets are separate products and are not included in this package.Unity version: 6000.5.9f1.Render pipeline: URP 17.5.0. The HDRP implementation is supplied separately.Custom shader support: native URP projection shaders and a Shader Graph integration example. Custom shaders may need projection code integration.Runtime features: projection rig, first person object setup, renderer helper, projected ray utilities, transitions and editor shader compatibility checks.Demo scene: URP stress test scene. Companion asset integrations are demonstrated with Overheat Glow, NVG and Thermal, Advanced Weapon Camo, Realistic Laser Sight, and Scope and Sights Shader. These assets are separate and not included.Demo input: UnityEngine.Input with Active Input Handling set to Both.Projection affects rendered geometry only. It does not change transforms, colliders or physics.
