16 stylized sci-fi mechanical units with three LOD tiers, five animation states per unit, matching wrecks and props. Native FBX and Unity Prefabs.Unity 6000.6.2f1; URP/Shader Graph 17.6.0. Bundled shaders: Built-in/URP. Demo: URP Forward. Keep Shader Graph installed for Built-in. glTFast is not required. Setup: Tools > Future War 3D > Mech Legion. HDRP/custom RP and actual Mac rendering unverified.Stylized Sci-Fi Classic Mech Legion is a coordinated collection of mechanical character visuals for RTS, tower defence, auto-battler and top-down sci-fi projects.INCLUDED CONTENT- Eight unit designs, each supplied in Ally and Enemy colour variants: Hound, Roller, Gunner, Salvo, Striker, Mender, Spider and Titan (16 units).- 16 unit Prefabs, each with a complete three-tier LODGroup and Generic mechanical Animator setup.- Idle, Move, Attack, Hit and Death animation sets for each unit, shared across matching LODs.- 16 static wreck Prefabs and four prop Prefabs: bullet, guided missile, armour shard and scrap visuals.- A lineup demonstration scene with animation and LOD preview controls, plus setup documentation.WORKFLOWModels are native FBX assets with explicit Unity Prefab, material and texture references. Colours use vertex colours and small shared PNG maps. Materials render in Built-in and URP. The included demonstration uses URP 17.6.0 Forward, and its setup menu is documented in the README.REQUIRED UNITY PACKAGESThe editable material ShaderGraphs are included in the package; glTFast is not required. com.unity.render-pipelines.universal 17.6.0 is the declared Unity Registry dependency and installs Shader Graph 17.6.0. Keep Shader Graph installed for Built-in material rendering. Prepared and tested on Windows with Unity 6000.6.2f1; actual Mac rendering has not been verified.INTEGRATION SCOPEThis is a visual asset and baked animation collection. Gameplay AI, combat, damage, projectile behaviour and physics destruction systems are not included. Death is a baked bone animation. The mechanical rigs are Generic, not Humanoid. Add colliders and gameplay behaviours appropriate to your own project. Performance depends on your scene, hardware and configuration; no fixed frame-rate or unit-count guarantee is made.MODEL DELIVERY- 68 mesh FBX files: 48 rigged models across three LOD tiers, 16 static wrecks and four props.- 16 animation-only FBX files containing 80 named clips; no duplicate mesh in the animation files.- 36 Unity Prefabs: 16 complete unit LODGroups, 16 wrecks and four props.- 16 Generic animation controllers. Five states per unit: Idle, Move, Attack, Hit and Death. Matching LODs share an animation set.TRIANGLES PER UNIT- LOD0: 1,904-6,016.- LOD1: 1,046-3,308.- LOD2: 476-1,488.MATERIALS AND TEXTURES- Six shared PBR materials with vertex-colour support.- Three unique PNG maps: one 256 x 256 packed surface map and two 4 x 4 colour/emission palettes.- UV mapping included. Vertex colours contribute to the appearance.COMPATIBILITY- Unity 6000.6.2f1; Built-in and URP material rendering checked.- Two editable bundled ShaderGraphs support Built-in and URP. glTFast is not required.- Declared dependency: Universal RP 17.6.0, including Shader Graph 17.6.0. Keep Shader Graph installed for Built-in.- The included demo uses URP Forward. Actual Mac rendering has not been verified.- HDRP and custom render pipelines are not supported.- Mesh rotations are baked. Prefab roots use zero position/rotation and unit scale.- Demo scene, animation/LOD preview controls, setup menu and README included.Codex was used to assist with initial 3D shape generation, base-mesh prototyping and concept exploration. The delivered assets then underwent manual retopology, mesh cleanup, polygon reduction, UV work, vertex-colour assignment and pivot alignment. Collision setup was prepared where applicable. The supplied assets were inspected and tested in Unity; this does not constitute a hardware performance benchmark.OpenAI Codex also assisted with authoring the included ShaderGraph node networks and Editor setup validation code, and with material migration, documentation and validation tooling. The package was checked through rendering comparisons and fresh-project import tests.
