Stored as true HDR, so lamps, signs and lit windows keep their brightness in reflections and lighting instead of looking flat.Unity: drag a material into the Lighting window and you are done - in the Built-in Render Pipeline, URP and HDRP.✦ WHAT'S INSIDE10 HDR cubemaps - 8192 × 4096 .hdr, imported as cubemaps with 2048 px faces (the full 8K detail), BC6H HDR compression10 EXR + 10 PNG - the same panoramas as 16-bit half float EXR and 8K PNG, for your own tools and for mobile / WebGL10 skybox materials - Skybox/Cubemap, ready to use, rotation and exposure on the materialDemo scene - switch skies with 1-0 or the arrow keys, look around with the mouse, mirror / glossy / matte spheresHDRP support package - 10 Volume Profiles (HDRI Sky) + an HDRP demo sceneDocumentation - README and an illustrated PDF guideLakefront Gold Night · Lake Sunset Calm · Riverside Supertall Night · Foggy Harbour Teal · Neon River Skyline · Harbour Sunset Silhouette · Rooftop Overcast Dusk · Harbour Blue Hour Violet · Harbour Sunrays Sunset · River Canyon Night✦ TRUE HDR, NOT A STRETCHED PNGLight sources - lamps, signs and lit windows store values up to 24 (a normal image stops at 1.0)Everything else - exactly the values of the preview, so at exposure 1 the sky looks like the screenshotsLower the exposure - the sky goes dark and the lights stay bright, like a real photo of the sceneReal reflections - bright highlights on glass, cars, water and metal✦ WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GETEvery screenshot is an in-engine capture - from the included demo scene, at 1920 × 1080 and a 70° field of view100% crop - of the 8K file in the gallery - judge the detail yourself before you buySeamless - left / right edge checked on every panorama, clean sky straight up and clean ground straight down✦ DEMO CONTROLSMouse / W A S D - look around · Scroll zoom · Esc releases the cursor1-0 / Left / Right - change the sky · H spheres · Tab textBoth input systems - works with the old Input Manager and with the Input System package✦ RENDER PIPELINESBuilt-in and URP - skybox materials + demo scene (the demo spheres use a small shader that works in both)HDRP - import HDRP/CitySkylinesDuskToNight_HDRP.unitypackage: Volume Profiles with HDRI Sky, fixed exposure that matches the previews, light bloom✦ USE CASESGames - racing and driving, open-world cities, rooftop and balcony scenes, menusVisualization - architecture, interiors with a city view, product shots with real reflectionsFilm and VR - cinematics, virtual production backgrounds, 360° VRGood to know: the extra light range is rebuilt from the image (the light sources), not captured with bracketed exposures - great for highlights and reflections, not a measured light probe of a real place. Looking straight down, some panoramas are softer than at the horizon. Like any 8K panorama, a very narrow zoom on a 4K screen shows more pixels than the image has - 60-90° field of view looks best.Panoramas - 10 seamless equirectangular images, 8192 × 4096 (2:1), 360° × 180°HDR - 10 × .hdr (Radiance RGBE, linear, true HDR, max value 9-24), imported as Cubemap, Latitude-Longitude, BC6H, 2048 px faces, mipmapsEXR - 10 × .exr (16-bit half float, linear, same light range), imported as 2D textures, Max Size 2048 (source file stays 8K)PNG - 10 × .png (8-bit sRGB, 8192 × 4096), imported as 2D textures, Max Size 2048 (source file stays 8K)Materials - 10 skybox materials (Skybox/Cubemap)Demo - 1 scene (Built-in RP and URP), 3 C# scripts, 1 shader, 3 materialsHDRP support package - 10 Volume Profiles (Visual Environment, HDRI Sky, Exposure, Tonemapping, Bloom, Fog), 1 HDRP demo scene, 1 script, 3 HDRP/Lit materialsDocumentation - README.txt, CitySkylinesDuskToNight_Guide.pdfUnity 2022.3 and above - Built-in, URP, HDRP · Linear color space recommendedNo dependencies - download size about 1.2 GBThe 10 panoramas were generated with diffusion image models running locally: 360° equirectangular generation, then a tiled refinement up to 8192 × 4096. Everything after that is our own processing and checking: seam and pole repair, horizon levelling, colour matching, and the true HDR light range rebuilt from the image (light sources expanded above 1.0). Every panorama was checked in level camera views, at several exposures and in Unity before release.
