17 hand gesture animations for humanoid characters: thumbs up, pointing, heart, OK, shush and more. Play them over any animation or as complete sitting and standing clips.Bring your characters to life with expressive hand gestures. This pack adds 17 gestures to any humanoid character: NPCs that point the way, give a thumbs up, wave the player over or facepalm in frustration. Gestures play on top of the character's own animation, so they work while sitting, standing, talking or walking. The animations are compatible with the humanoid rig in Unity. Each gesture is provided in two forms:Masked clip: animates only the arms, fingers and head and plays on an Animator layer with an avatar mask, over any animation of your character.Full-body clip: the gesture combined with a sitting or a standing idle, ready to use in a state machine, Timeline or other 3D tools.Gestures included:Air Quotes: Both hands make two "quote" flicks at the head.Call Me: Hand as a phone at the ear.Come Here: Palm up, beckoning with the fingers.Count: Counting from one to five on the fingers.Facepalm: Palm over the eyes while the head shakes "no".Finger Wag: "No-no" with the index finger.Glasses: Finger rings in front of the eyes.Heart: A heart shape with both hands at the chest.Horns: "Rock" horns in front of the character.Listen: Palms behind the ears, "I can't hear you".OK: The OK ring at the face, then forward.Point Self: Pointing at oneself, "me".Pointing: Pointing forward and looking along the finger.Shush: Index finger to the lips.Thumbs Down: Thumbs down.Thumbs Up: Thumbs up.Victory: V sign with a forearm sway.Every one-hand gesture can also be played with the left hand through humanoid mirroring. The included controller switches hands with a single Mirror parameter.A sample scene shows all gestures on a seated and a standing character, and lets you drop in your own humanoid model to see the gestures on it before you integrate them.───────────────────────────────MORE FROM DEVELOOPSitting Animations Pack, 11 seated mocap animations that combine well with the gestures:https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/slug/296756More motion-capture packs:https://dev-eloop.github.io/?filter=packAll our Unity tools and animation packs:https://dev-eloop.github.io/Demos and tutorials on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@develoop-videoSupport: dev.eloop@outlook.com17 gesture animations for humanoid characters, 30 fps17 masked animation clips (arms, fingers, head) for Animator layers, 2.5–7.9 s6 avatar masks: right arm, left arm and both arms, each with or without the headExample Animator Controller: an idle base layer, a gesture layer per mask, a trigger per gesture and a Mirror parameter for the left handAnimator Override Controller for the standing idle; swap in your own base animation the same way2 FBX files with 17 full-body takes each (sitting and standing), humanoid, root motion baked into the pose, 3.0–8.4 s2 looping humanoid idle animations: sitting (20.8 s) and standing (8 s)Left-hand versions of all one-hand gestures through humanoid mirroringSample scene with a gesture library, mirror switch, auto sequence and a preview of your own humanoid modelAnimations work in Built-in, URP and HDRP; the sample scene materials use URPNo dependencies: no Input System, TextMeshPro or UI packages requiredSample scripts in their own assembly definitionDocumentation included (README)AI Skills included for Unity AI Assistant and other AI agentsUnity 2022.3 or newer
