Build smooth, customizable day-night cycles with cubemap sky blending, directional lighting, ambient audio, and optional Netcode for GameObjects synchronization.Tested with Unity 6000.5.9f1 and Universal Render Pipeline (URP) 17.5.0. The included demo scenes and materials are configured for URP. HDRP, Built-in Render Pipeline, and custom render pipelines are not supported in version 1.0.0.Bring your environments to life with a flexible and easy-to-configure day and night cycle.▶ Try the Live WebGL DemoExperience the day/night transitions, sky rotation, lighting, rain, and demo controls directly in your browser.Sky Ambient Cycle lets you create an ordered sequence of time-of-day stages such as morning, afternoon, sunset, and night. Each stage can control the sky, directional light, and ambient audio while the system blends smoothly into the next stage.Set the duration of the complete day using one value in seconds, or configure custom hold and transition durations for individual stages. Every stage can use its own Cubemap, tint, exposure, rotation, rotation speed, transition curve, ambient sound, and sunlight settings. The package supports local playback and includes optional server-authoritative synchronization for Netcode for GameObjects. A late-joining Client receives the current cycle state, including playback position, speed, and pause state.Sky Ambient Cycle is suitable for exploration games, survival games, stylized environments, prototypes, and any project that needs a configurable looping environment cycle.Included:• Ready-to-use Sky Ambient Cycle prefab• Configurable DayNightProfile• Local demonstration scene• Host/Client Netcode demonstration scene• Rain and flashlight demo controls• Four 2K HDRI demo skies• Inspector validation and clear documentation• Complete C# source codeRequirements and limitations:• Designed and tested with Unity 6000.5.9f1 and URP 17.5.0• Input System is required for the included player demo• Netcode for GameObjects is required only for the optional network integration and network demo• Cubemap skyboxes are supported• HDRP, Built-in Render Pipeline, Custom RP, Fusion, Mobile, and VR are not supported in version 1.0.0• AudioClips are not includedAsset uses HDRI sky and grass texture content from ambientCG under the CC0 1.0 license. OpenAI image generation tools were used to create the marketing key images representing the day-night cycle. All assisted content was reviewed, adjusted, validated, and tested by the publisher. The package itself contains no AI-generated art; the included HDRI and grass textures are CC0 assets from ambientCG.
