Upwork-style time tracking inside Unity: memos, 10-minute segments, activity levels, screenshots, a work diary and client-ready HTML/CSV reports.Time Tracker is a complete work tracker that lives inside the Unity Editor. It's built for freelancers, contractors and studios that bill by the hour or simply want an honest record of where their time goes.Write a memo, pick a label and press Start. Your work is recorded in 10-minute segments, each with an activity level, optional screenshots, the apps and websites you used, and Unity context: the active scene, git branch, Play Mode time and script recompiles. Time is measured from real clock timestamps, so it stays correct through domain reloads, editor stalls and even crashes. The Diary shows your day as a grid of segment cards with thumbnails and activity bars. Select one or a range to change memos and labels, remove screenshots while keeping the time, delete time, or add manual time for meetings and calls. When it's time to invoice, the Reports tab exports a single self-contained HTML report with hours per day, memos, labels, apps, earnings and screenshot thumbnails. Email it, or print it to PDF from any browser. You can also export a CSV timesheet or copy a plain-text summary for chat. Also included:• Idle detection that asks whether to Keep, Discard, or Discard & Stop when you return• Daily target and weekly limit, with notifications when you reach them• Hourly rate and earnings on the Track tab and in reports• Countdown alarm and Pomodoro timer that can start and stop tracking for you• Reminders to start tracking when you work in Unity with tracking off• The window tab shows the live session time, even when docked in the backgroundPrivacy first: everything stays on your machine in the project's UserSettings folder, which Unity's default .gitignore already excludes. Nothing is sent over the network. Browser address bars are never read, and private/incognito windows are recorded only as "Private browsing". You can ignore apps completely or hide their window titles.Tracking• ON/OFF sessions with a required memo and optional label• 10-minute segments with activity % (minutes with keyboard/mouse input ÷ tracked minutes)• Idle prompt after a configurable timeout: Keep, Discard, or Discard & Stop• 1–3 screenshots per segment at random times (Unity window or full desktop), optional blur, automatic retention cleanup• App and website timeline sampled every 2 s, with ignore lists and hidden-title apps• Unity context per segment: scene, git branch, Play Mode time, script reloads• Crash-safe: checkpoint every 10 s, atomic diary writes, gaps over 5 minutes ignoredDiary, Timer & Reports• Day grid with thumbnails, activity bars, multi-select, bulk memo/label edits and manual time• Countdown alarm and Pomodoro (work/break/cycles) that can control tracking• Periods: Today, Yesterday, This/Last Week, Last 7 Days, This/Last Month• Single-file HTML report with embedded thumbnails, earnings and per-app breakdown• CSV timesheet (one row per segment) and copy-to-clipboard summaryPlatform support• Windows: full support (system-wide activity and idle, app names and window titles, Unity-window or desktop screenshots)• macOS: system-wide activity and idle, app names, Unity-window screenshots• Linux: activity from Unity events, Unity-window screenshots, no idle prompt or app timelineCompatibility• Unity 6000.0 or newer (tested on 6000.3)• Editor-only assembly, nothing is included in player builds• Works with any render pipeline, no package dependenciesIncluded• Full C# source, UI Toolkit interface (USS styled for light and dark skins)• README.md, Documentation.txt, CHANGELOG.md• Namespace: DuzeraTools.TimeTrackerCode: AI helped refactor and debug parts of the C# scripts, editor tooling and shaders. I directed, reviewed and tested all of it in Unity before including it.Documentation: AI helped draft and edit the README, the documentation and code-level text, which I then checked against how the tool actually works.Store listing: AI helped write the listing copy and build the marketing images from HTML layouts. The package contains no AI-generated 3D models, textures, audio or other art assets. All design decisions, testing and final approval were mine.
