The hosted service is separate from the free SDK. Current plans, usage limits and terms are available at https://horizon.pm.An open-source PHP Simple Server is also available for self-hosting. Its supported features and operational requirements differ from the hosted service. Check its documentation before choosing that option: https://github.com/ProjectMakersDE/horizOn-simpleServer.Documentation and source: https://github.com/ProjectMakersDE/horizOn-SDK-UnitySupport and issues: https://github.com/ProjectMakersDE/horizOn-SDK-Unity/issuesREQUIREMENTS• This Asset Store upload was built and smoke-tested with Unity 6000.5.0f1. The SDK is also available through Git/UPM for Unity 6000.0 or later.• Unity UI package (com.unity.ugui 2.5.0 in this Unity 6.5 upload) for the included HelloHorizon sample. The Asset Store package includes this dependency declaration.• Internet access, a horizOn account and an application API key for hosted backend features.• Google and Apple sign-in require provider configuration. Email delivery requires backend SMTP configuration.IMPLEMENTATION• C# Task-based async/await API in the PM.horizOn.Cloud namespace• UnityWebRequest over HTTPS• JSON and binary cloud-save payloads• Feature managers for authentication, leaderboards, Validated Actions, cloud saves, remote config, localization, news, profiles, gift codes, feedback, logs, crash reports and email• Editor configuration importer, UI Toolkit example window and feature samples• Independent of render pipeline• MIT license with inspectable source codePLATFORMS AND LIMITSThe SDK targets Unity platforms with the required HTTPS and UnityWebRequest support. Platform-specific OAuth and network restrictions still apply. Native Apple sign-in uses the bundled iOS bridge. The browser fallback requires an Apple Services ID, redirect URI and redirect-token forwarding.Cloud-save capacity, leaderboard capacity and request limits depend on the configured backend and service plan. The API stores one save payload per user and one score per user per board. Consult https://horizon.pm for current hosted-service limits.AI-assisted coding tools were used during SDK development, maintenance and documentation. AI tools also assisted with store copy and marketing layouts. The gallery screenshots were captured from the actual SDK running in Unity. The source is available under the MIT license. The SDK does not run a generative AI model at runtime.
