20 seamless 16x16 pixel art terrains with 21 autotile transitions, animated water and lava, and transparent edges. Paint terrains in the Tile Palette and the right tile is picked automatically.Nature Terrain Tileset gives your top-down RPG, farming sim or adventure game seamless ground: grass, sand, water, dirt, snow, lava and more, with 21 transitions between them.Paint, don't puzzle: pick a terrain in the Tile Palette and paint. The included autotile brush looks at the neighbouring cells and picks the right transition tile, fill variant and animation automatically, so shores, paths and islands connect by themselves. Erasing or repainting updates the neighbours too. What's inside:- 20 terrains: deep water, shallow water, swamp water, toxic sludge, lava, sand, cracked desert, mud, volcanic ash, ice, grass, dry grass, flower meadow, forest floor, dirt, farmland, gravel, rock, volcanic rock and snow.- 21 autotile transitions, each a complete 16-tile corner set. All transitions that share a terrain use the same fill, so everything connects: deep water > shallow water > sand > grass > dirt, lava > volcanic rock < volcanic ash, and more.- Fill variants that share the same border pixels, picked per cell to break up repetition.- Animated liquids: water ripples, swamp sway, rising toxic bubbles and flowing lava with a glowing rim. Shores animate too.- 14 transparent edge tiles: paint grass, snow, sand or other edges on a layer above ANY ground, also from other packs.- 2 ready-made Tile Palettes and a demo scene with a temperate island, winter, volcanic, swamp and desert areas.Tiles are 16x16 with 16 Pixels Per Unit and Point filtering. Works in the Built-in Render Pipeline and URP.- 20 terrains, 21 autotile transitions (16 corner tiles each), 14 transparent edges- 2 atlases (every tile 16x16), sliced into sprites- 34 paintable autotile tiles in 2 Tile Palettes- Animated liquids: 12-16 frames, 140-180 ms per frame- Autotile C# tile (2 scripts, namespace KebapGuy.NatureTerrainTileset)- Import settings: 16 Pixels Per Unit, Point filter, no compression- Demo scene- Render pipelines: Built-in and URP (Sprites-Default material)- Requires the 2D Tilemap Editor package (included in the 2D project templates)- No Asset Store dependencies- Documentation: README.txt- Unity 2022.3 or newerThe ground textures and transition tiles were generated with PixelLab, an AI pixel-art tileset generation tool. They were then made seamless, cleaned up and recolored with custom scripts; some fills (deep water, swamp, toxic sludge, ash, dry grass, lava, volcanic rock, rock) and the flower meadow were made by code. No AI was used for the rest: the fill variants, all liquid animations and the transparent edges were made with custom scripts, and the Unity autotile tile, palettes and demo scene were written and set up with custom code.
