Edit Unity Localization like a spreadsheet: keys x locales grid with Undo, QA audit, safe CSV & Google Sheets round-trip, one-click I2 migration. Editor-only; requires com.unity.localization 1.5.1+.LocaGrid is an editor-only tool with zero runtime code and no dependency onrendering. It works identically regardless of render pipeline — Built-in,Universal RP (URP), and High Definition RP (HDRP) are all fully supported, since the tool never touches the Scene, Camera, Shaders, or any rendering API.LocaGrid is an Editor-only companion for Unity's official Localization package (com.unity.localization). Unity's package is powerful — but editing one key at a time, wiring up OAuth for Sheets, and having no way off I2 make it painful. LocaGrid fixes the workflow around it.Requirements and dependencies — please read before buyingUnity 2022.3 LTS or newer. Verified on Unity 2022.3 LTS and Unity 6.REQUIRED dependency: Unity's official Localization package, com.unity.localization 1.5.1 or newer. LocaGrid is a front end for that package — it does not localize anything on its own and it will not compile without it. The dependency is declared in LocaGrid's package manifest, so the Package Manager resolves it when you import LocaGrid. You can also install it yourself from Window > Package Manager > Unity Registry > Localization.Installing com.unity.localization also pulls in its own official Unity dependencies: Addressables (com.unity.addressables), Newtonsoft Json (com.unity.nuget.newtonsoft-json) and Scriptable Build Pipeline (com.unity.scriptablebuildpipeline). All are free first-party Unity packages downloaded from the Unity Registry.Your project needs at least one Locale and one String Table Collection for the grid to show data. Create them with Unity's own Localization Tables window (Window > Asset Management > Localization Tables), or let the I2 migration wizard create them for you.Google Sheets import requires an internet connection and a sheet whose link sharing is set to "Anyone with the link". It reads Google's public CSV export endpoint — no OAuth, no API key, no Google Cloud project. Private sheets and .xlsx files that were never converted to Google Sheets format are not supported, and writing back to a sheet from Unity is not included: the round trip is Unity -> CSV -> Excel/Sheets -> Unity. The I2 migration wizard needs an I2Languages asset (or a LanguageSource prefab) that is already in your project. I2 Localization is a third-party asset: it is NOT included with LocaGrid and NOT redistributed. The I2 package does not even need to be installed, because LocaGrid reads the serialized data directly. Migration is one-way (I2 -> Unity Localization) and never modifies or deletes your I2 assets.Editor-only: zero runtime code, no runtime assembly, nothing added to your builds. Runtime localization remains entirely Unity Localization's job.No render pipeline requirement: Built-in, Universal RP and High Definition RP all work identically, because the tool never touches the Scene, Camera, shaders or any rendering API.Nothing else is required: no other third-party libraries, plugins, paid assets, servers or subscriptions are needed or redistributed. Full C# source is included.A real gridRows are keys, columns are locales — see and edit your whole table at onceInline editing with full Undo; writes straight to the official StringTablesSearch, and a "Missing only" filter that highlights every untranslated cellQA auditMissing translations, placeholder mismatches (a dropped {0} or {name}), leading/trailing/double whitespace — found in one clickSafe CSV & Google Sheets round-tripExport, edit in Excel or Sheets, import back through a diff preview: every change is listed current -> new, nothing is written until you ApplyKeys are NEVER deleted by an import, and a blank cell never erases a value — your translators can't break your tableGoogle Sheets import needs only a share link.
