Too many shaders on the store limit you to just water, but what if you want a variety of types of fluids in your game like mud, blood, poison lakes, etc.!This shader is designed to stylized, but can still get a nice hybrid look thanks to the transparency and normal texture compatibility. You can also use your own textures if you want to mix my patterns with something up your own sleeve!I designed the shader to be performant friendly, but I plan on adding more expensive variants to this asset in the future that support lighting, tesselation, reflections, and interactions.Enable the depth and opaque texture in your URP asset.Allows for custom normal textures and pattern textures.Intersections/depth are based on the vertical distance between the fluid's surface and the object below.The fluid shader is transparent.Works for all versions 2022.3+Built for URP, no support for Built-In or HDRP.Gerstner waves rely on a mesh with sufficient geometry and no rotation (except around the y-axis).Depth is calculated in the y-direction. Rotating your mesh (except around the y-axis) will create artifcacts in your depth and intersection effects.World space position is projected on the xz space. UV projection is offered as an alternative if desired.The colors in this shader are HDR.
