Have you ever wanted to create a Collect-a-thon game like famous Rareware™ games such as Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie or Donkey Kong 64? Well now you can with our Collectathon Kit!Demo scene is using URP renderer, but the rest of the asset is render-pipeline agnostic.Collectathon Kit is a customizable collectathon package where you can create your own collectables and use them in your collect-a-thon games. Collectathon Kit is easily extensible with interfaces and events to decouple your code when implementing a specific collectathon feature, or use the collectathon kit as a starting point for your own game!CollectablesCreate your own collectables which your player can collect. Make them persistent or consumable. Useful for ammo/eggs/feathers resources. Hook into various events when collectables are collected or changed.Place collectable placeholders in the scene with an automatic ground detection function that keeps spawned collectables level off the ground with an adjustable height.Multi-quantity collectablesCollecting collectables can increase quantity by how many you specify. You may want a collectable for single musical notes, or a collectable that signifies a group (For example: A treble clef note pickup found in Banjo-Tooie).Back-tracking/FilteringCreate a collectathon where your game requires "back-tracking" where you have to change states in order to collect different sets of collectables like in DK64. Collectables update their visual status based on their collectable status.TeleportingA handy teleport sequence which fades to black, teleports the player, and fades back in while freezing time and physics, much like how many collectathon games or adventure games do it.Demo scene includedSee our demo scene which showcases each of these features and how they can extend into your new Collectathon game. You can even use our UI components to display collectable counts on collect or use. Use camera interest points that are triggered by specific trigger zones to tween the camera into static positions found in many collectathon adventure games.
