Keep players visible behind walls and roofs in top-down and isometric games. Circular or rectangle cutouts, ghost dithering and a batch material converter. Built-in + URP.Tested: Unity 6.2, URP 17.2, Windows DX11/DX12. URP: 3D Universal Renderer, Forward/Forward+/Deferred. Import the included UnblockViewURPSupport.unitypackage after installing URP; keep General installed. One shared camera. HDRP unsupported. XR, 2D Renderer, custom renderers, Deferred+, camera stacks and other versions are outside tested scope.Keep players in sight.Unblock View reveals players behind walls, roofs and other foreground geometry in top-down, isometric and shared-camera co-op games. Choose a circular cutout that follows each player or a screen-aligned rectangle that opens a wider view of the scene.Built-in + URPUse the Built-in shader out of the box, or import the included optional URP support package. Both pipelines use the same manager and reveal controls. URP support includes a demo scene, materials and example pipeline settings.Choose how your world opens upCircular reveals for up to four players sharing one camera.A screen-aligned rectangle with adjustable horizontal and vertical margins.Global rectangle settings or per-material overrides.Full cutouts or ghost dithering to retain a hint of roofs and walls.Adjustable edge softness, tint and circular tear effects.Depth gating keeps geometry behind the player intact.Convert materials in batchesSelect scene objects or prefab instances, scan their materials and choose which to convert. The converter creates Unblock View copies, preserves the originals and supports Undo. Pipeline checks and separate Built-in/URP output folders help keep converted materials organized.A small runtime setupAdd one manager, assign the gameplay camera and initialize it with your players. Converted materials respond through shared shader parameters. No per-object update scripts, runtime material instancing or extra cameras are required. What is includedShared runtime manager and demo helper, Built-in shader and demo, optional URP support archive, material converter, reveal textures and setup documentation. Before you buyTested with Unity 6.2, URP 17.2 and Windows DX11/DX12. URP requires the 3D Universal Renderer; Forward, Forward+ and Deferred are covered. HDRP is not supported. XR, URP 2D Renderer, custom renderers, Deferred+, other versions, camera stacks and independently controlled cameras are outside the tested scope.Unblock View uses its own opaque/cutout shader. It does not preserve every feature of an existing shader or detect building entry. Rectangle mode reveals eligible foreground geometry across its screen region. Rendering cost depends on screen coverage and active player count.CompatibilityUnity 6000.2.15f1 (Unity 6.2).Built-in: Forward and Deferred.URP 17.2: 3D Universal Renderer, Forward / Forward+ / Deferred.Windows DirectX 11 and DirectX 12.Perspective and orthographic cameras; one shared gameplay camera.FeaturesUp to four player positions, controlled by one manager.Circular and screen-aligned rectangle reveals.Depth-gated cutout, optional ghost dithering and configurable edges.Rectangle margins from the manager or individual materials.Batch material conversion with Undo and preserved source materials.Separate Built-in and URP demos.URP setupInstall Universal RP 17.2, then import UnblockView/URP/UnblockViewURPSupport.unitypackage. Keep the General folder installed. Importing support does not change your active render pipeline.Material conversionMaps Standard/URP Lit base texture, color, tiling, normal map, metallic scalar and smoothness scalar.
