Who casually uses classical flashlights?
Who caries a separate camera around everywhere he goes?
Exactly - no one (or at least - almost no one).
Most of us have a multitool which is a common smartphone.
This asset introduces interface elements and 3D graphics (while having the first person view in mind) for the implementation of a more modern approach to the in-game flashlight and camera. The dynamic design of the materials allows the hand model to interact with the smartphone while changing modes (for example: turning on the camera while the flashlight is on) realistically changing the images displayed on the screen. The camera mode has a whole separate User Interface capable of taking pictures, zooming and dynamically changing how the camera flash works. Easy to implement while working on exploration games, adventure games, survival horrors and first person shooters that would use a little extra feature to extend the variety of the gameplay.
The package contains:
-21 User Interface elements for the camera mode, all in very high quality designed for resolutions as high a 4K. Easy to scale, easy to modify.
-Rigged and animated 3D models for the arms and the camera.
-6 editable source files for all the models and renders present in the texture (camera mode icons, smartphone interface, high-poly smartphone model and more - you can easily create your own smartphone menus using basic 3D editing and rendering skills!).
-Transparent smartphone OS interface for easy phone background editing.
-Multiple textures for the arm model with different skin tones.
-An example scene.
-A readme file containing implementation instructions.
A free example script controlling the animations and mode switching is included (commented and easy to understand).
