A huge collection of hand-drawn 16-bit-style pixel art tilesets for an SNES-inspired RPG or adventure game. Also tested and working on 2022.3.25f1, but should work fine with any version, as it's just a bunch of tileset PNGs.This is a massive collection of hand-drawn pixel art tilesets inspired by 16-bit RPG classics. Whether you're making an epic globe-spanning action RPG, or a cozy slice-of-life farming sim, this pack covers just about any place your players need to go! This package contains more than 20 unique environments, each with various customization elements: ground textures, cliffs, walls, doors, trees, rocks, etc. There are also many standalone environmental objects suitable for any environment, like fences & walls, bridges, signposts, furniture, and more! Lastly, I've included a set of weather effects so you can simulate rain, snow, and cloud cover.Customizable environments include:Cozy forest with all four seasonsFour types of village homes with unique interiorsTwo types of castle walls, towers, and interiorsLibrary with tons of booksRoyal garden with a hedge mazeCrumbling castle dungeonMysterious ancient templeA dark cave with glacial and volcanic color swapsSteampunk manor and airshipsTropical shoresDesert sandsArctic woodlandsRainforest junglesAnd an enormous world tree of epic proportionsThese tilesets use 16x16 tiles and the proportions are designed for character sprites around 32 pixels high. All tilesets are in PNG format. The main sheets are usually 256x256, but a few are larger.Environmental objects (trees, rocks, furniture, etc) are also on smaller sheets prepped for grid slicing.Every image has been set to a PPU of 16, with no filter mode, to preserve the appearance of the pixel art.Every image has been pre-sliced.No Tilemaps are configured (I'm new to Unity and prefer to use Tiled for mapmaking). Many environments come with image guides or text files to help demonstrate some key concepts. Many environments come with a sample map constructed in Tiled (a free map editor I recommend). You may use these assets in any game engine, not just Unity.Important user license clauses include a prohibition against use in web3 or genAI games. Read the particulars here if that concerns you.
