It is our most loved tool to date.We set out to develop more tools that maximize performance in smart and unique ways, Light Occluder is our next step, our focus with this tool is delivering powerful functionality with frictionless setup, we want our users to have the tool up and running in seconds, and we believe we delivered on that.CUSTOMIZATION & ARTISTIC CONTROL, you can apply a global range from beyond which lights are culled, or apply a custom per light range, to make the transition less harsh Light Occluder lowers the light intensity based on a customizable editor curve, you can apply a global curve applied to all lights, or a per light curve. Global range and curve are applied by default. The result is a tool that works without a setup and at the same time offers a wide range of properties to further finetune it for your own project.THOUGHTFUL DESIGN, to ensure a frictionless integration Light Occluder is designed to work with no special setup, simply add a Light Occlusion Manager from Unity's toolbar and you're done, it automatically ignores directional lights and area lights, and is project aware, it automatically accounts for any light created after the fact.HIGHER PERFORMANCE, we have noticed a 20-40% increase in FPS in the demo scene, the performance uplift is even bigger on slower systems, giving your players with low-end hardware a better experience.NOTE: The demo scene used to showcase this tool is not included!-------------------------------------------------SUPPORT – QUESTIONS - NEWSHop on our Discord server.Follow on Twitter/X.You can read the documentation here.-------------------------------------------------
