Occluded shaders allow you to render various effects over the occluded areas of your objects; ideal for dungeon crawlers, first person shooters and any situation where you need the player to see through walls without costly full screen effects.
The provided shaders support Heathen's Selective Glow, Unity Standard, legacy toon and traditional shader styles with 4 unique styles.
Heathen Standard: Based on Unity’s Standard shader the Heathen's Shaders makes it easy to mix and match effects for the perfect look to fit your game. This package includes a simplified Heathen Standard Shader.
Features!
Basic: Renders a color (with alpha) over the occluded areas.
Wireframe: A shader which renders the mesh wire frame over occluded parts. Optionally render the wireframe with or without back face culling.
Rim: Renders a rim light effect over the occluded area with configurable light weight (area covered) and color.
Pattern: Renders a pattern from texture in the color and alpha of your choosing.
No Occlude: An odd name for an Occluded Render pack; but these shaders will not trigger the occluded render effect e.g. if you dont want your baddies to shine through your player's avatar apply a No Occlude shader to your avatar's material.
Bonus wireframe shader included; this shader is a DirectX only shader which renders your mesh wireframe with configurable edge and face color and is available in culled and un-culled.
