The menus of a PS1 survival horror game for Unity UI, ready to use.Works in any pipeline: the kit is UGUI and TextMesh Pro, which draw the same in each. Tested in Built-in, URP (2D and Universal Renderer) and HDRP. In HDRP the demo scene's background colour comes from HDRP's camera settings instead; the UI looks the same. The menus of a PS1 survival horror game for Unity UI, ready to use. An inventory grid with item boxes, the examine screen, a heart monitor for the player's condition, the map with its rooms, doors and save rooms, files on paper, the typewriter save with its save slots, title and pause menus and the message box, in five themes, each a set of UGUI prefabs. Put one on a Canvas and it comes skinned and padded. What's inside5 themes: mansion (navy and brass), fog (rust and sepia), lab (terminal green), blood (dark red) and archive (light paper), cut to the PS1's 15-bit colour with its dither. Each is 50 UGUI prefabs: buttons (normal, hover, pressed, disabled), checkboxes and radio buttons, a slider, progress bars, a scrollbar and scroll view, an input field, a dropdown, tabs, a tooltip, panels, windows with title bars, labels and a divider. Each theme also comes as a PixelTheme asset that names its prefabs, so code can build a screen and switch its theme. The survival horror pieces, as prefabs too: menu lines with a pointer and a highlight band, item boxes (plain, selected and equipped) with ammo counts, the examine frame, the heart monitor with four scrolling ECG traces and bars (fine, caution, danger, poison), map rooms (explored, with items left, you are here, not visited) with door, locked door, save room, item and you marks, paper for files and notes, save slots, the message box and its blinking arrow, and a 2x headline for title screens.100 item icons, each at 32x32 for the grid and 96x96 for the examine screen, rendered from the models of our PSX Horror Props, PSX Firearms and PSX Survival Pickups packs: weapons and an ammo box for every calibre, herbs, first aid kits, sprays, pills and syringes, 20 keys and keycards, flashlights, batteries and flares, notes, letters, maps and photos, the typewriter and ink ribbons, item boxes, tools and puzzle pieces.Ribbon, our typewriter pixel font, with printable ASCII and Latin-1 accents, at 1x and 2x as TextMesh Pro font assets, crisp at 9 px and its multiples, and a mouse cursor at 1x to 4x.Every piece is a 9-sliced, point-filtered sprite, so it also works with your own UI.PixelCanvas scales the canvas by whole numbers, so the pixels stay square at any resolution.Demo scene: title, a line of dialogue, the items, examining one, the map, the files, the typewriter save and the pause menu, built from the prefabs, with buttons to switch between the five themes.CompatibilityUnity 6.3 or later, with UGUI and TextMesh Pro (both built in).Either input handler: the Input Manager or the Input System. The Python code that draws every piece, icon and glyph pixel by pixel and the package's C# scripts were written with the help of AI (Anthropic's Claude); no generative image model.Unity 6.3 or later with UGUI and TextMesh Pro; import TMP Essential Resources when Unity offers it.A Documentation.txt in the package's folder says what is where and how to use it.Try the demo scene in your browser: https://heyheythere.com/demos/psx-horror-ui/
