The name "Injeong" means "benevolent ruling."Injeongjeon Hall was built during the establishment of Changdeokgung Palace but was later rebuilt in 1418 (the 18th year of King Taejong). It was reconstructed in 1610 (the 2nd year of King Gwanghaegun) after it was destroyed in the Japanese invasion in 1592.Injeongjeon Hall is a magnificent mid-rise building built on a two-story wide stone platform (Woldae). Since the stone platform is low in height and has no railings installed, the hall appears simple compared to Geunjeongjeon Hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Originally, the floor inside the hall was covered with clay-baked bricks, but now the hall has parquet block flooring. The hall was refurbished to Western-style in 1908 with light bulbs, curtains, and glass windows. The front yard, or the royal court, of Injeongjeon Hall is covered with wide and thin stones like any other palace, and three paths are laid in the center to demonstrate the dignity of the palace. The courtyard also has stone posts that define state officials’ positions by their ranks. Part of the outer corridors of Injeongjeon Hall was restored after 1991.Injeongmun Gate is the main gate of Injeongjeon Hall. It has a hip-and-gable roof in the front and on the sides. Injeongmun Gate was where the next king’s coronation was performed during a king’s funeral (state funeral). This is where seven kings (Hyojong, Hyeonjong, Sukjong, Yeongjo, Sunjo, Cheoljong, and Gojong) of the Joseon dynasty were coronated.Features:Complex of InjungjunNumber of Unique Meshes: 525Vertex Count: 4 - 1,275,291Collision: YesLODs: NoNumber of Material Instances: 177Number of Textures: 332Supported Development Platforms: (512*512, 1024*1024, 2048*2048)Windows: (Yes)Mac: (No)
