
This asset introduces an advanced climbing system to the Animal Controller. To use it, you'll need either Malbers' Animal Controller or Horse Animset Pro.I’ve created over 80 animations for this asset to support an 8-way climbing system. It includes both braced and free-hang movements, such as short and long climbs, leaping animations, climbing around corners, and jumping to a ledge behind you.You can also jump onto moving objects or enter ledges from above.I’ve worked hard to eliminate bugs and ensure the system feels smooth, though I couldn’t test every possible scenario. While I’m not a professional animator, I’ve done my best, and you’re welcome to adjust them to fit your project.It works best with primitive shapes like boxes or cylindrical meshes. The runtime climb point setup uses four climb points that don’t instantiate or destroy repeatedly, and this feature can be turned on or off as needed. It’s still a work in progress, and I’m actively working on improving it. However, detection for climb points may struggle with uneven surfaces, so keep that in mind.For more tips on setting up the environment, check out the tutorial! 😊Since Malbers now only supports Unity 6, all upcoming versions will be released exclusively for Unity 6.The core assets are not tied to any Render Pipeline, but they will be uploaded from a URP project.If you encounter pink materials, simply assign new Standard materials to the meshes. The asset does not include any custom shaders, only standard Unity materials.
