[ABOUT]
This pack includes one droid-character model and its 14 animations. The character is well-optimized. It has 2 levels of detail, various coloration schemes (a pack of PBS maps) including a stylized handpainted option (Diffuse map only). [OPTIMIZATION]
The character has two levels of detail. A LOD0-model consists of 4162 triangles (4012 vertices), and a LOD1-model has 2652 triangles (2856 vertices). For LOD0-material a map set of 2048*2048 resolution is used, and the one of 1024*1024 resolution is used for LOD1-material. The skeleton consists of 24 joints. Every vertex is simultaneously influenced by 1 joint maximum. The character is made as one skinned mesh. All the animations are created without root motion.
For better optimizing the textures of some elements are created using overlapping (wings, blades, feet).
[TEXTURES]
There are 2 materials for this model: a desktop (PBR) and a mobile version (non-PBR).
There are 9 color schemes for the PBR-material. A basic map set is used: Albedo, Specular/Gloss, Normal, Emission, Occlusion.
N.B: One color scheme option ("Steel_And_Brass") is created for metallic workflow.
There is only one diffuse map with baked shadow, highlights and glowing for the non-PBR material. Though you can always change the mobile material to add a Normal map (e.g. using Unity "Mobile Bumped"), i.e. the Normal map of the PBR-set can be used for the non-PBR one as well.
All the maps of the LOD0-material are saved at 2k resolution, and the LOD1-material maps are at 1k resolution.
All the texture maps are saved using TGA format.
