This is an advanced robotic arm package in which the developer/user will be able to create a complete functional factory in which robots perform autonomous actions and objects move along the different processing stations. This is a professional version of the robotic arm available in the store with many updates and improvements.
To make it work, you must give camera permissions. If you get a white screen after the installation, please RESET the app and it will display the camera feedback.
1.HOW DOES IT WORK?
The package contains different robotic arms and a forklift. The movement of all the objects/elements are obtained using rigid body physics (not animations).
1- About the Robotic Arm Pick:--------------------------------
The robotic arm needs several inputs in the form of “strings” representing the quaternions for the picking position and an array for different dropping positions. The grip closes when picking a game object. The movement can be autonomous, manual or IK following.
2- About the Robotic Arm Cut:--------------------------------
This robotic arm needs several inputs in the form of “strings” representing the quaternions for the cutting positions. A laser is activated when the cut begins. The moment can be autonomous or manual.
3- About the following IK:--------------------------------
As we use rigid body physics, we have also implemented a follower IK for a game object, in which the robot can follow an objective in the scene.
4- About the Forklift:--------------------------------
This forklift needs some input transforms to move in the scene to pick an object and to drop it in another point.
7- About the Convoy:--------------------------------
It is used to move objects in the factory.
6- About the scenes:--------------------------------The scenes are classified in BASIC and ADVANCED, in which the user will be to use the different robotic arms in different ways. There is also a scene that uses a remote input based on JSON structure for simulating the calls to create new plants on the scene.
7- About the Pipeline:--------------------------------
URP is used for Unity standards.
2.WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE WITH THIS?
A complete game/app in which robotic arms perform different functions: cutting, picking, convoying, packaging and delivering. The package includes all the prefabs, materials, models textures and scripts described in the promotional video.
