Perspeccy is an asset for 2D games that manipulates game objects to make them appear like they're between 2D and 3D. Using it, you can effortlessly enhance your game's appearance, giving your objects depth in an otherwise flat world.
You can have your first object up and running within a few minutes. It has been optimized to be as easy as possible to work with batches of objects, but it is just as simple to enable on a singular object.
It works by maneuvering the children of an object, with each child being a separate layer altered by Perspeccy to give it that crisp 2.5D effect.
Its main feature is the Angle operation, which allows you to give objects an adaptable angle relative to the camera. I.e, a sprite drawn on its side will flip to demonstrate a mock 3D perspective as the camera passes over it (Shown in example images). For the Depth operation, Perspeccy calculates and displaces the childrens' positions by an adaptable amount in order to create a copy-cat 3D depth effect on the entire object.
