Layered World allows you to create beautiful endless worlds by seperating unique world assets into layers. Create a terrain layer, grass, flowers, water, trees, rocks, or anything else you want in your world. The world will automatically generate a world around a transform as you move around! Specify view distances for each layer to improve performance, define grid-sizes to suit each layer and reduce object count, and even define how many objects are added and removed from the scene each frame to remove any micro-stutter when loading large amounts of data.
Infinite Worlds: Endless procedurally generated unique worlds. Specify a different seed and get a different world.
Multi-layered Noise Engine: Create multiple layers of noise for continents, mountains, hills and small details and define the world just how you want it.
Custom Terrain Material: Built-in terrain shader changes textures from grass to dirt when hills are steep, and changes to sand at sea-level.
Grass and Flowers: Animated multi-texture grass and flowers simulate wind, include noise functions to simulate paths and patchy areas. Configurable growth sizes for variation and maximum growth angles so they don't grow in steep areas.
Clouds: Perlin noise based cloud generation with movement and morphing animation to simulate wind.
Stars: Multi-layered stars with configurable color and movement.
Day/Night Cycle: Seamlessly flow from day to night. Built-in clock, moving sun, cloud and star brightness based on time of day. Configurable day speed lets you decide how long each day lasts.
Wind: Configurable wind speeds alters the grass, flower and cloud movement speeds to simulate high or low wind.
Seasons: All 4 Earth seasons with configurable lengths and daylight hours. Terrain and grass change colors based on season.
Snow: Terrain and grass/flower shaders support snow in the winter season.
Extendable: Create your own layers! Rocks, trees, bushes, whatever you want!
Easily Configurable: Alter draw distance, cell sizes and per-frame additions/removals to configure each layer to be as performant as possible.
Procedural Plotter: Built-in system uses noise to effectively plot positions for anything: rocks, trees, bushes or anything else.
PBR Materials: Terrain, grass and flowers use PBR.
