We couldn't think of a better way to account for our grand entrance into the realm of sound library creation by capturing a couple of deliciously vintage adding & accounting machines. This is the sound of early modern bookkeeping at its finest. Use these mechanical sounds for anything from generic machine noises and supporting vintage UI elements, to full on steam punk contraptions or twist them into sci-fi madness.
A 1923 Remington Adding Machine, and a 1953 Hedman Cheque Press were recorded in a professional studio with a stereo pair of high quality, sensitive microphones.
In addition, a collection of designed sound effects is included to either use as is, or to inspire what's possible with these same source sounds.
