This freebie is a combination of a basic PBR Surface shader and a modified terrain shader to easily mask the intersection between models and terrain.
Basic features are:
- PBR-based
- Albedo, Normal, AO and Emission support for your assets
- Albedo and Normal support for the blending texture
- can easily be extended with basic shader know-how
- parameter-based perfect tiling with the terrain base texture
- Snow-Mode: Add some blending on top of your assets for an even more coherent environmental look
- Inflate-Mode: Inflates your mesh in the blending area to have it blend with the ground even better
This kit also contains an example scene with textures, materials and a model to show how it works.
The shader for the meshes requires Shader Model 3.0 or higher while the modified Terrain shader requires Shader Model 3.5 or higher.
