Jump AssetStore
A professionally developed editor extension to streamline your development and play testing by providing a shortcut to enter play mode using a user-specified PlayMode Scene.
No longer do you have to go through the arduous task of locating and loading your main scene to start testing, only to then have to relocate and open all the scenes you were working with.
Simply select your main Scene, right click, and 'Set as PlayMode Scene'. Now just Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Alt + S from any environment and your play mode scene will be loaded. Upon stopping you are then returned to the collection of Scenes you had open before entering play mode!
All official releases from Unity 5.6.6f2 to Unity 2018.2.3f1 have been tested and proven to work. Newer and Beta versions are not officially supported but may still work.
Upgrading
There are two versions of this tool, one for Unity 5.6 and another for 2017.1 onwards. When upgrading your from 5.6 you should delete the version you have installed and re-download the asset.
