More than clouds on blue, these skyboxes contain mountains, hills, forests and other landscape elements in the distance, to give your games a much stronger feeling of immersion and vast space. Since most are a full 360°, you can also use them in games where most other skyboxes reveal their missing bottom.
The package contains a total of 31 skies, including different weather, times of day and environments. There are also space environments and alien planets. With such a variety for your selection, you are set for many projects.
All skies are ready-to-use, containing skybox material, cubemap for environmental reflections and sunlight prefab set up to match sun position and brightness.
Simply apply the material to your camera(s) or render setting, drag the sunlight prefab into your scene and the cubemap to your reflective materials.
At about $1 per sky, this huge selection is a steal. And the two included demo-scenes make it easy to pick and choose the right sky for your scene.
Technical details:
Textures are 1024x1024, .png format sources, for a good balance between performance and quality. Space environments are 2048x2048. All import settings and materials are optimized for skybox use. These skyboxes really are drag&drop, instantly useable.
