The Portal World Manager is a tool that allows you to easily create transitions between scenes or areas in your game. It is often a good idea to spread content over different scenes. For example if you have a huge open world with lots of houses. It would be crazy to have all interior of this houses inside your world at the same time. Now Portals come into play and allow you to stream or load your interior scene when a player wants to enter a specific house. And if he wants to leave this house the Portal Manager takes care of the right positioning inside the world.
