Sci-Fi Damage FX is a framework for creating volumetric impact effects. Flexible, performance optimized, and unique, Sci-Fi Damage FX adds another dimension to object damage.

Includes:
-4 pbr based shaders:
--Opaque, used for opaque pbr surfaces. supports all texture maps used in unitys standard shader.
--Alpha and Alpha-Fade; these transparent shaders can be used to create a variety of affects including Sci-Fi shields, Invisible walls, etc. Can also be used for transparent and partially transparent pbr surfaces.
--Shield; a custom shield effect shader that has rim highlighting and uses a customizeable function for impact distribution.
-Sci-Fi Damage FX Component:
--Inclueds a custom inspector with hover discriptions.
--Allows to fine tune the effect with multiple parameters.
-Full source code in c# with comments.
-Shaders are all commented pbr surface shaders.
Requirements:
-Requires shader model 4.0.
-Requires 3DTexture support.
