Maintain 2D gradients in your art without needing RGBA32 image sizes! Introduce a small amount of noise, and compressed images won't have terrible banding or terrible artifacts within the gradients or shadows.
A great Unity Editor window that requires no coding. Just select your artwork, add noise, and then use it in your game! (See Video for demonstration)

When compressing images for mobile, often the gradients or shadows are decimated, and left with ugly banding, or unacceptable artifacts. This tool is intended to help remedy the problem, by introducing Noise to the image to prevent the compression algorithm from destroying your beautiful graphics, or introducing artifacts in key areas.
I've been involved in way too many conversations about RGBA32 vs the comprimises of going to RGBA16, or the terrible appearance of PVRTC4 for some gradient images. And I've spent a lot of time trying to explain to the bosses and clients about what compression does to an image, and why the banding ends up appearing and destroying the beautiful gradients the artists wanted to see. So I finally write a tool that allows anybody to introduce just the right amount of noise to preserve the gradients and still reduce file sizes within your builds.
