Create complex 3D trigger/reverb zones and NavMesh modifiers with spline-based volumes. No mesh needed — use control points to define any shape for fully dynamic, interactive zones in your world.Volume Splines is a tool for creating 3D zones in Unity using spline-based volumes. These zones can be used for triggers, reverb effects, affecting NavMeshes or any other gameplay-related area that requires a custom shape. Instead of relying on predefined colliders or meshes, you define the volume by placing control points in the Scene view, making it easy to create zones that fit the exact shape you need. You can adjust these volumes at runtime, which makes them useful for dynamic environments or situations where the zone shape needs to change based on player interaction or game events. This tool is fully integrated with both Unity's audio system and Unity's AI navigation system, so it can apply reverb effects to any audio sources or modify the state of a NavMesh within the defined volume. You can see a live interactive representation of the zones in the Scene view for quick adjustments.Volume Splines is designed to be easy to use and requires no additional setup. It’s ready to be dropped into any project, with complete documentation to guide you through its basic functionality.IF ERRORS ARE BEING ENCOUNTERED:Volume Splines has a feature involving NavMeshes. As such, the AI Navigation package is a dependancy and must be installed to use this feature. If this is not a required part of your project, you don't need to install the AI Navigation package. If so, you should delete the folder labelled NavMesh Modifier in the EBuley/VolumeSplines directory, and remove the "Volume Spline NavMesh Modifier" and "NavMesh Surface" objects in the demo scene. The errors will be resolved.Control point placement systemCustom 3D volumes - no mesh requiredNavMesh modifier volumesReverb zonesTrigger zonesGizmo visualiserIn scene view volume editor
