Janganmun’s name means “Gate of Perpetual Peace,” while Paldalmun’s name means “Gate Leading in All Directions.” These gates played significant roles in the fortress's history and design. In traditional Korean fortresses, the south gate typically served as the main entrance and exit. However, for Hwaseong Fortress, Janganmun, the north gate, took on the role of the main gate, as the king traveling from the capital would encounter it first. Paldalmun, meanwhile, connected roads to the southern regions of the Korean Peninsula and facilitated trade and market activity in its vicinity.Number of Unique Meshes: 239Collision: YesVertex Count: 24 ~ 209,315LODs: NoNumber of Materials: 10Number of Material Instances: 57Number of Textures: 190Texture Resolutions: 2048
