The Hwacha, developed in 1451, launched 100 fire arrows and was crucial in Joseon Dynasty battles like Haengju.The Hwacha with Singijeon was a mobile launching weapon developed in the first year of King Munjong’s reign (1451). It was capable of firing 100 Jung Singijeon (medium-sized fire arrows) either simultaneously or consecutively. The Hwacha demonstrated its power during the Imjin War, notably in battles such as the Battle of Haengju.
