Dig in!Welcome to the sandbox party of your dreams with our "Sand VFX" pack for Unity! *hehehe*Video Preview: https://youtu.be/ME-cu6uq_soGet ready to play and experiment with a bunch of cool features that'll take your projects from blank to "well, at least there's sand in it lol"This pack aims to be a starter pack for the sand effects for your projects, it being for environments or the earth-type attacks from a turn-based monster-collecting and fighting RPG.Features:Sand Impact Effects - Jump into the action with sand impact effects that'll make you feel the sand beneath your feet. That's the bit of game juice that's needed for players to fully grasp the desert ambience.Lit Sand Puffs VFX - They're just sand puffs. But they're being affected by the light around them. Crazy stuff right?Falling Sand Material & Particle Systems - Add sand "waterfalls" to the level's ledges with this falling sand material and its respective "sand fall from the ceiling" particle systems.Custom Rock Meshes - Rock out with custom rock meshes. This shows one of multiple use cases for the VFX in the pack.Rock Eruption Effect - Swoosh. Shablam! You've been hit by a bunch of pointy rocks that came out of the ground. The example shows you how to spawn the rocks hit VFX, but you'll still have to implement health management according to your real projects, as we can't build a universal solution for each and every project's context.Environmental Sandstorm Cards - Meant to be used as a set dressing for the desert background, cards can be both fix in space with side fade or a billboard.Floating Sand with Vector Fields - Watch the sand dance with this set of floating sand effects. It's like having your own mini sand tornado – but way safer! The vector fields can be switched to whichever ones you make (in Blender, for example), or they can also be adjusted in Niagara by using noises.Emitting Sand from Meshes - Let Thanos snap his fingers once again. Emit sand from a character's mesh, or any other mesh really. The sand particles are lit (as they should in a real environment) so they'll react to the environment lighting. Background Dunes Material - This one is a "no deformation" version, so the player nor the objects in the scene won't be modifying the dunes, but the players could leave footsteps in the sand too using another technique (decal footsteps). Even though the material is meant to be used as a "background" type of environment set dressing, it could also be used in many other contexts.Sand Footsteps VFX & Dune Normal Decal Steps - The sand between your toes never felt so good. These effects are the ones left behind the player's feet using the "no deformation" approach for the dunes.Motion Vectors and 6-way lighting - Most flipbook based VFX include Motion Vectors to optically blend between flipbook frames, so you can set an effect to be played in slow motion and the player won't notice the stepping between frames! Also the particles will react to the sun or light sources, but you can activate or deactivate the features to suit your specific needs. Here! Grab a shovel and let's dig into those sandy projects with this "Sand VFX" pack! :)This package is EXCLUSIVE to the Universal Render Pipeline.Disclaimer: The packs work in a 2D environment on a 3D render pipeline, but NOT with the 2D render pipeline features, neither for SRP, URP, or HDRP. That means the 2D Core, 2D Mobile, 2D (URP) templates and such won't work. If your project is 3D render pipeline-based, but in a 2D setting, such as using an Orthographic or Icosometric Camera, it will work.Be sure to grab the Render Package that fits you best before purchasing! If the RP gives you any issues or you need an extra RP, contact us to info@vefects.com
