This Dungeon Generator is a mechanism that uses rooms which are prepared as prefab template and connect each other with procedurally generated corridors to create complete a randomized dungeon map.· Although it is primarily useful for dungeon type games because of its randomness, it can also be used for many kind of games as well.· Generator can be run both for edit and play modes.· Generator will run at one click and you can clear it instantly in the edit mode.· Unlike the most dungeon generators using Unity's editor tool consisting of room layout, this generator generates rooms at one-click if you don't want to spend too much time with preparing room layouts before launching your app.· Generation mechanism starts with creating an entrance room. Afterwards, procedural corridors (you can set corridor length between two rooms at inspector in Unity) merges with entrance room then seconds room follows it and so it will continue until the last room is created. So the initial version of dungeon is created with each room having one exit and one entrance corridor. In order to make the dungeon more interesting, some room type (in default hub type rooms have this ability and you can modify it as you wish) have ability to create additional corridor if neighboring some rooms except for initial entrance and exit corridors. This way, the rooms will have variety of different path options to explore the dungeon.· This generator is as fast as complete procedural generators and nearly as flexible as the generators which has editor room layout sketch tools. While generator allows user to prepare rooms with user's decoration taste as much as possible, it also creates corridors procedurally in order not to waste time with considering corridors as rooms using in Unity editor layout tools.· Algorithm is prepared meticulously such as avoiding from room overlaps, room’s neighbor detection, jump from dead-end points.· Two options are available for setting the randomness level of the generator.· Based on your room templates and game design, you can tweak with the generator’s settings shown in the fields on the Unity Inspector.· When you creaete your own prefab rooms and place them into the generator, be very cautious that prefab's room pivot point should be (0,0) Unity world position.· Sometimes while editing room prefab tiles in palette, rect size can change abnormally. In this situation, please press "Compress Bounds" button existing in the related tilemap's component. If still problem goes on, there can be invisible tile around so please use erase option for each related tilemap pallette all around the room.
