This package helps generate 2D chains and ropes with the HingeJoint2D component. It supports chain generation in both editor and runtime modes. An object pooler is included to improve chain generation in runtime. Additionally, the package includes scripts for playing sound, cutting, and dragging.Important:If you already have version 1.x.x, you can upgrade to version 2.x.x for free. However, please note that you should delete the old version before importing version 2.x.x to avoid any conflicts or issues. All Features:- Generates 2D chains and ropes.- Features a 2D curve editor for chain generation.- Supports chain generation in both editor and runtime modes.- Includes an object pooler for optimized chain generation at runtime.- Includes profiles, which are ScriptableObjects that store chain properties.- Includes scripts for sound, cutting, and dragging.- Includes sprites for both chains and ropes.- Includes 2 simple sound effects.- Provides an option to automatically fade chain segments once they are cut.- Provides an option to connect other rigidbodies to the chain.- Provides an option to lock the anchor point.- Provides an option to loop the 2D curve.Important:- This tool is based on the HingeJoint2D component.- The rope is created using the LineRenderer component.- There is no editor for the 2D curve during runtime. What's new in version (2.0.0)?- Rewrote all scripts with better structure.- Added support for ropes.- Added ChainProfile2D and RopeProfile2D ScriptableObjects.- Added an option to automatically fade chain segments once they are cut.- Added support for runtime chain generation.- Added object pooler for runtime chain generation.- Automated most of the work, including the creation of chain segment prefabs.- Sprites of chain segments can now be both vertical and horizontal.- Enhanced 2D curve editor. How to reduce HingeJoint2D errors? In Unity's menu bar, go to Edit > Project Settings > Physics2D, then increase the Velocity and Position Iterations. Keep in mind that a higher number of iterations will improve accuracy but also increase processing overhead.
